Vieux mondeModifier

Cette article montre tous les mouvements et toutes les attaques du Tigrex dans tous les Monster Hunter où il est présent. Les dommages d'attaque peuvent dépendre du statut et de l'équipement du chasseur.

MHF2 and MHFU AttacksModifier

Charge Attack Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
A very fast charge that takes up a good amount of area. This homes in to the hunter if at a certain distance. Tigrex can turn and charge at the hunter again for the second time in succession. There are two types of ending moves for these; one is it ends the charge with a bite, and two is it ends the charge with stretching its paw to the ground. In some special zones, it may become stuck to a wall, becoming vulnerable.
Rage Mode
Tigrex can do this up to three times in succession while enraged. However, these charges are now at a 90 degree angle. Often does not home into the hunter.
Evasive Maneuver
Most of the time it will be necessary to dive. Before it even does the attack, try running to the side. If it's already homing in and there is no chance of escape, then dive. If the hunter's weapon is unsheathed and Tigrex is far away, try to sheath and run. If it is close, try to roll away, or to the side and towards the charge. It will usually hit if the latter is chosen. If none of these are going to work for you, you may be able to roll to the side between one side's front and back legs. It will require near-perfect timing, but it is possible.

Ground Hurl Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
Tigrex hurls 3 rocks (Désert, Vieux Désert, Great Arena) or snowballs (Montagne Enneigée) at the hunter with its right hand. It is possible to tell when it's about to do this when it stops, and brings its arm back. Sometimes, this comes after Tigrex jumps back whilst not entering Rage mode.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move faster when enraged.
Evasive Maneuver
Run/dodge to the left or right. Dive if above is impossible. Attack it from the side or tail. If blocked, damage will still be taken.

Bite Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
Tigrex's head goes back, and chomps the hunter. There are two different styles. One is doing this once. Two is doing this while it's moving forward and bites two times.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move faster when enraged. The move can combo with other attacks.
Evasive Maneuver
Avoid the front and dive to the sides. Diving sometimes fails if it's doing the two-bite. Guarding while it's doing its two-bite is also futile, as it drains a massive chunk of stamina. Bring Mega Juice if necessary.

360° Tail Spin Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
Tigrex readies its position, then spins around clockwise in 360 degrees. Tigrex performs this move often when the hunter is near it.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move faster when enraged.
Evasive Maneuver
Avoid getting close to it when it does this. It is possible to Panic Dive over the tail, but it takes practice.

Jump-Back Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
Tigrex jumps back. It performs this move everytime it enters rage mode. Tigrex also performs this move sometimes when the hunter is too near it. This moves combos sometimes with Ground Hurl.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move when entering Rage mode, before roaring.
Evasive Maneuver
Either get ready for rage mode, or do anything before it throws rocks/snowballs.

Roar Ailment Inflicted: Deafen
Normal Mode
It pounds its two paws on the ground, its forewings open up, then it roars. If the hunter is too close while it performs this move, the hunter gets thrown back and gains damage. If the hunter is only a bit further, the roar can deafen the hunter that requires the HearProtct skill to block.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move when entering Rage mode, after jumping back.
Evasive Maneuver
Either have the Earplug skill, or try to get far enough away from Tigrex. Its range is close, so the hunter can be pretty close and not be affected. With earplugs, this is a very good time to hit its tail, legs, or arms. Without it, hit the head and leave quickly when it lowers its head again. Another method of avoiding is to roll when it's about to do it

Leap attack Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
Tigrex jumps to catch the hunter.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move faster when enraged. Tigrex can perform this attack two times in succession, then performs its Taunt stance. In MHFU, it has a small chance of changing its move after the two leap.
Evasive Maneuver
Get out of the area it's about to land onto and start attacking if it performs the Taunt stance.

MHP3 MovesModifier

All of Tigrex's moves and attacks from MHF2 and MHFU are present in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, along with new moves/attacks, and some slight changes with the old attacks. This section displays the changes in some of Tigrex's attacks.

Charge Attack Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode
There are now three types of ending moves for this move. The new ending move is when Tigrex suddenly stops and steps back a little.
Rage Mode
The new ending move for this move also applies when Tigrex performs this move while enraged.
Tired Mode
Tigrex performs this move slower when tired. When Tigrex turns around, it loses its grip on the ground, slides, then trips on the ground, allowing free hits for the hunter.
Evasive Maneuver
Similar to above.

Ground Hurl Ailment Inflicted: Fléau-Eau, Fléau-Glace
Normal Mode
Rocks/Snowballs hurled by Tigrex may inflict Status Ailments depending on the ground it performs this attack. Doing this attack on the muddy areas of Plaines de sable will inflict Waterblight, whilst in Toundra will inflict Iceblight.
Rage Mode
Tigrex performs this move faster when enraged.
Evasive Maneuver
Same procedure as above. Consume the appropriate cure when inlicted by Ailment.
