A Subspecies of Jhen Mohran introduced in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Much like the regular Jhen Mohran it inhabits the Great Desert and is fought in a similar manner, though the order of the attacks and movements the Subspecies performs is completely different. For example, while the regular Jhen Mohran surfaces on the right side of the ship and throws rocks, Jhen Mohran Subspecies immediately starts with a frontal ram attack from the right.

Jhen Mohran Subspecies is capable of the new attack also performed by the G-Rank Jhen Mohran in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate; expelling a jet of sand from its mouth.

This subspecies of Jhen Mohran is slightly bigger than its original monster.
