Bird Wyvern Peck Pecks 4 times in front like other Bird Wyverns. Roll out of the way. Don't attempt to block it unless you have Guard+1 or +2, as it'll seriously drain Stamina.. Low - Medium
Lunging Peck Leaps forward, followed by a Bird Wyvern Peck. Run/roll to the sides or under when it jumps. Panic diving away is also viable. Low - Medium, minimal for legs
Single Sleep Gas Spits out a ball of sleep gas. How far it shoots depends on the hunter's distance from it. Run to the sides. None, but causes Sleep status.

Triple Sleep Gas

3 Sleep Gases released, mostly from left-to-middle-to-right or from middle to right and left, vice versa. Occasionally followed by a Jump Kick. Roll, panic dive, or if standing beside or behind it, just land some strikes on it. None, but causes Sleep status.
Charge Screeches while running at the target. May chain into Tail Whip or Fury Kick. Roll, panic dive, or block. If evasion is successful, it may fall down, giving time for a potion.

Medium - High

Tail Whip Turns its body to smack the hunter with its tail, always counter-clockwise and twice in a row. Roll under legs, run to the other side of it or away or block. Don't get too close to the tail.

Low - Medium

Fury Kick The Hypnocatrice jumps slightly into the air and advances towards the hunter, each time kicking forwards twice. Light homing effect, strong homing when enraged. Roll at a sharp angle right when it jumps, or, with good timing, roll under its legs. If that fails, guard. Take advantage of the following taunt that occurs only after three of four successive kicks. Medium - High
Taunt Screeches, stretching its wings. Usually appeares after a triple "Jump Kick". None.
Hover Hovers backwards, creating Windpress. Avoid the following attack. Leaves plenty of time to heal and for gunners to shoot it. None.

Retreating Jump

Jumps back flapping its wings, possibly letting out sleep gas. If it lands quickly, it will execute a Fury Kick straightaway.

Watch the time taken for it to land and act accordingly; dodge or guard. Low if it lands on you, but can chain into Fury Kick.
