Description en jeu
Wyverns aviaire aux ailes vestigiales. Incapable de voler. Il vit à l'état sauvage près des Pics brumeux, mais il est domestiqué à Yukumo. Le Gargwa est craintif et pond parfois des oeufs sur le coup de la peur.

Habitat range
Gargwa are seen regularly in the Mountain Peaks. It is unclear whether it lives in other tropical areas like the Deserted Island.
Ecological niche
Gargwa feed on a variety of fruits, insects, fish, and vegetation. However they are common prey for predators such as Great Jaggi, Arzuros, Rathian, Rathalos, Nargacuga, Zinogre, and Deviljho. People of the Yukumo Village use them as livestock and draft animals.
Biological adaptations
Gargwa do not seem to be adapted to extreme climes, so their habitats include temperate areas. These small monsters are omnivorous. They appear to feed on insects and maybe occasional vegetation, leading to an omnivorous lifetsyle. They have small vestigial wings which devolved after many generations. To make up for this, Gargwa may run great distances, much like real Ratites.
Behavior
Gargwa are docile among humans, though they will attack if harassed or cornered.
When startled, Gargwa appear to lay eggs, no matter the situation. How and why they do this is unknown, but a theory is that they try to propagate one more time before possible dying (since their main predators are quite deadly), to survive. Another theory is that it lays unfertile eggs to let predators feast on the egg rather than the fast running Gargwa, similar to a gekko's escape by losing its tail.ing
