Taunt Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

The SC will sit still and try to look intimidating and push his claws up. This you can try to take an opportunity to get things ready or just hit it.

Rage Mode
It does it faster.
Evasive Maneuver

Nothing really.

Grab Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur will reach out and swoop into the hunter and try to hug/grab the hunter with a considerable amount of damage.

Rage Mode
It does it faster with more damage.
Evasive Maneuver

When it extends its arms either run diagnally away from it or to it and panic dive or roll out of the way. Can be blocked.


Tipping Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur will tip the ground doing little damage but knocks you to your butt. When it does it will look like it is trying the grab attack but swiftly goes down tipping the ground.

Rage Mode
Can do it up to 2 times when angry, and does a little more damge.
Evasive Maneuver

Just roll next to it or away its a close range attack so it is easy to dodge. Unknon if it can be blocked.


Spin strike Ailment Inflicted: A slight chance to Stun.
Normal Mode

It will raise one claw high into the air and swoop in a 180 degree arch and slap the hunter behind it.

Rage Mode
It is done swifter and can ad more range do to its claws out.
Evasive Maneuver

DO NOT stand behind it when doing this go towards the claw if your on its side and is more likely to dodge the shot. If not enraged you can roll away from it. Can be blocked.


Dig attack Ailment Inflicted: A slight cahnce to Stun.
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur digs into the ground and pokes out with it head and front claws several times. Time it, if it stays in the ground more than 5 seconds without pooping out once it means it will leave or get out in the same spot.

But be carful when going up to it when getting out of the ground the front and side claws can do little damage and knock you to your butt.

Rage Mode
There is no way it will sit under ground unless leaving. It can pop from 1 to 8 times when chasing more than one person.
Evasive Maneuver

If painted or can be detected with the detect +2 it can show you where it pops and can panic dive out of the way. CANT BE BLOCKED UNLESS WITH AUTO-BLOCK.


Water spin (ground) in MHFU Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur will raise both claws and shoot a water beam in a 180 degree circle.This does a ton of damage.

Rage Mode
besides the huge amount of damage added it can do a 360 turn.
Evasive Maneuver

Crouch is the best way to dodge, if not you can run with the beam in front of it and panic dive. Can be blocked.


Claw Stab Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

It will turn suddenly to you, raise on claw and throw it to the ground getting it stuck. It is a very easy this to dodge but if hit will cause moderate damge.

Rage Mode
does not show any warning and throw it at you.
Evasive Maneuver

Roll out of the way or block it.


Clawed Wall Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

It is not executed often when not enraged, but if a considerable amount of distance it will home into the hunter.

It will have its arms out wide and RUN to the hunter trying to hit him/her.

Rage Mode
Shown above.
Evasive Maneuver

A highly unlikely way of rollong out of the way. Block or panic dive away.


Ceiling Spray Ailment Inflicted: Possible chance of Stun
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur will jump up onto the ceiling (if there is a ceiling), and shake his shell and spray a jet stream side to side while moving. Once done we will fall back down and hit any unfortunate hunter under it.

Rage Mode
He will do this up to as many time as he pleases. Not to mention the extra rage damage.
Evasive Maneuver

Panic dive or Panic run are the simplest things to do. Blocking the move is uncertain.


Claw Swip (side) Ailment Inflicted: None
Normal Mode

The Shogun Ceanataur will raise on claw or the other and side walk to the hunter and attempt to swipe at her/him.

Rage Mode
He does it faster and harder.
Evasive Maneuver

Roll out of the way or block. Do not try to roll in front of it, there is a high chance it will hit you still.
