Charge | Ailment Inflicted: None |
Normal Mode | |
Bulldrome scrapes its leg on the ground 2-3 times, then charges quickly towards the hunter. Bulldrome cannot change direction mid-charge. This attack is identical to that of the common Bullfango commonly found in many areas, except faster and more powerful. The main danger from this attack comes from the fact it can be chained several times in a row, meaning that if a hunter is hit, they can easily be hit by the follow up attacks.
Rage Mode | |
Nothing worth mentioning.
Evasive Maneuver | |
This attack is fairly easy to avoid, as Bulldrome cannot change direction, and thus it is simply a matter of rolling out of the line this attack moves along. This attack is also easy to block, making it a good choice for those using a weapon capable of blocking. This attack can leave Bulldrome's behind vulnerable, although it is advised to attack with caution, as it may follow on shortly with a Head Shrug. |
Quick Charge | Ailment Inflicted: None |
Normal Mode | |
This attack is more or less the same as the regular Charge, except Bulldrome does not scrape the ground beforehand, making it much more unpredictable and dangerous. As with the regular Charge, Bulldrome cannot change direction for the duration of the attack. This attack may be immediately followed on by another charge, or a Head Shrug.
Rage Mode | |
Nothing worth mentioning.
Evasive Maneuver | |
Essentially the same as that of the regular Charge, except it is more difficult to predict, as it can be executed with little-to-no notice. As with the Charge, Bulldrome is vulnerable after finishing this attack, but can easily follow on with another charge or a Head Shrug |
Head Shrug | Ailment Inflicted: None |
Normal Mode | |
Bulldrome rears up, twists its body so that it is facing the hunter, and then lowers its front while shaking its head. This maneuver is then repeated a second time. This attack can follow on from a Charge or a Quick Charge, and deals a relatively large amount of damage, so it can be potentially dangerous for inexperienced hunters.
Rage Mode | |
Nothing worth mentioning.
Evasive Maneuver | |
Just stay far enough away from Bulldrome. It is possible to block, making this a viable option for those using a weapon capable of doing so. It is possible to hit Bulldrome while it is performing this attack, but is not advised, as the length of time this attack is able to damage the hunter is deceptively large, and it can twist around to reach the hunter at almost any area for the second shrug. |

Long Charge (High-Rank) | Ailment Inflicted: None |
Normal Mode | |
Bulldrome scrapes the ground, similarly to the regular Charge, then charges at the hunter. Instead of stopping shortly after it has hit or missed the hunter, it keeps running, turns around, then charges at the hunter again. It then circles around and charges for a third time, before finally coming to a halt. This attack is performed exclusively in High-Rank quests. As this is a change from the regular Bulldrome attacks, this attack can easily catch unsuspecting hunters off-guard, even having the potential to hit two or three times.
Rage Mode | |
Nothing worth mentioning.
Evasive Maneuver | |
Roll to the side for each charge, making sure to keep an eye on Bulldrome, as it is easy to get hit by this attack if not paying close attention. Blocking is possible, but it may drain large amounts of stamina due to the fact that Bulldrome can hit up to three times when using this attack. It is difficult to hit Bulldrome during this attack, as it is moving quickly for quite some time, so it is advised to wait until it has completely finished this attack before preparing to inflict damage on Bulldrome. |
